A while back, the Base Layouts pages were created. They allow users to share their bases and vote on others. The intention of adding pages like these was to increase community involvement in the wiki. However, the response to the Base Layouts pages has been underwhelming. I would like to know why people are not sharing their bases and try to determine another way to increase community involvement.
Have you shared your base layout on the Base Layout pages?
Have you shared information about your in-game achievements on the You page?
How did you begin editing here on the wiki?
Finally, propose and discuss your ideas to get people involved on the wiki. Would you like to see things like community competitions, recognition of active contributors, or more community pages like You and Base Layouts?
Is there a choice for "I'm helping out by adding to Blackguard Bases" in the third poll, because that's my vote there (I'm clearly not blind or else how am I typing this, but I know that it somehow should be a choice XD)
Oh well, I'm assuming that's under the firat choice
a fun page, maybe like mini layout where we can suggest layouts and such. Like this but for Boom beach. Like I said with a discussion board, vote on favorite designs, and other things along those lines.
That sounds like the Base Layouts pages except I do not understand the relation between the link and the rest of the suggestion. I do not think we will be able to make a base designer for Boom Beach here.

Maybe have an image upload to help us continue the list? Like in, when we want to continue the list, just let us choose that reflects our base instead of typing out the filename of the image manually. It just seems a lot easier.
I have added buttons to the Home page that go to the community pages to increase awareness of them. I have also tried to simplify the instructions for the Base Layouts and You pages as much as possible. Hopefully, these changes will help people find the pages more easily and use them correctly.
Please discuss your ideas for new community pages.
How about we take a different approach to the Base Layouts pages? Instead of Top 10 lists, we have pages with Placeholders like the one below. It has a nice interface for adding images, and text is taken out of the picture entirely. Also, Top 10 pages have very limited editablilty apart from the list items. This way, we could customize the page, and make the page as user friendly as possible. I am pretty sure we can come up with a way to make the page generate a new placeholder once one is used.
