Diamonds are a bit easier to get in this game and there's no real purpose of saving them up but even then it might not be so good to gem troops, unless you're really in a rush. Half the time (depending on your casualties) you can wait it out completely
Who knows saving diamonds for an upgrade would be better.
Remember that we still have another three more prototypes to be included in the table afterwards. The table as it is won't hold up to this without being unnecessarily wide or forcing horizontal scrolling
Only a big bunch of five prototypes were added in the last update, and they'll show up sooner or later. The last two prototypes before that were added in late 2016.
The game only gets about 4 updates a year, which is not a lot at all. Some of these updates do not add much, such as the one before the five prototypes last year, which added only one hero, some Blackguard Bases and some bug fixes
I upgraded my sawmill and and mines, I gemmed them both (since they only had 1 minute left and I had to go) and started upgrading my sniper tower and rifleman. When I came back, nothing was upgrading. I wasted 3 hours.
I found a bug of my own with the sky shield today. Battle just won't end automatically if any weapon hit the shield at all. Cost me some convenience on Hammerman today as I had to either wait out the remainder of the battle on 4x speed or reload the game manually
I wish to inquire about a few aspects of the game created by Supercell named Boom Beach. I am currently HQ Level 12 and I am enoying said game very much, since I unlocked warriors I have been using them with Dr. Kavan (*Crystal Critters*) Consistantly. My defense is lacking but it is not my main focus. My statues are decent, but could be better. I wanted to ask you what I should do. I noticed that at HQ 12 you unlock level 12 landing crafts that can hold 16 spaces, enough for two tanks. Should I prioritize upgrading said landing crafts so I can start using mass tanks with Dr. Kavan as a sort of early game Tank Medic? Or would a different strategy prove more efficiant.
Heal per second of Kavan is considerably low compared to Tmed. With HPS of no more than say 50 it can't really hold up against splash defenses even half as well as 2 boats of 3 Medics (which do at least 120), let alone against other single target defenses like snipers.
Mass tanks is very expensive on energy, and your best effort at healing can come in the form of using the Crystal Critters. But that can also prove very expensive so you'll only be able to use it so many times in an attack.
But upgrading Landing Crafts to 12 is not just for tanks. Heavy-Zooka would have a great benefit from it too, which would be extremely useful in, say, operations.
I think the best option would be just to upgrade the Landing Crafts, in case you find mass Tanks more effective than what I have described here, or if a different strategy would prevail. There's almost nothing wrong with upgrading Landing Crafts in the long term.
Magma, i am request your assistance. I have been playing boom beach for more than 2 1/2years on the same samsung android tablet. I tried to open the app today and i received a message that reads "unfortunately Boom Beach has stopped working" report or ok. I have restarted my tablet several times to no avail. My question is , if i unistall then reinstall boom beach will i lose my current acct or can i retrieve my acct? Is there another way to get the app to work again? Clear the cache maybe? I would prefer not to lose 2 1/2 years or booming. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, bearblackhawk
Depends on whether you saved your base on Game Center. If you did, you can simply remember the username you played the base on, after which you are free to uninstall and reinstall as desired, since your base will be kept safe throughout. Even if you install the game on another device, you can access your base in that case.
If you didn't connect to Game Center, that's too bad, but there's nothing I can do. Perhaps the best thing to do in this case would be to contact Supercell support. They'll likely ask for your in-game name, your HQ level, Task Force as well as player tag (if your in-game name is quite common). With those information they can work on restoring your access to the base.
In the short-term it would be best to just go for one big raiding session. If you don't have enough gold to load all your troops, take on Dr. T first; the easier stages should give you enough funding to train the rest. You can also take gold from Daily Rewards, Supply Chests and OP rewards if you're given the opportunity. If you're lucky, the Trader will offer you Gold from extra rewards or you may simply find Gold from the Trader Crates she gives you.
If you do have enough gold for all your troops, then you're all set. A recommended army composition for this situation is one where losses are minimal, such as Tmed. Though it may be expensive, if you use them correctly you should not have any problems and you'll earn back more gold than you do if you used another army.
In the long-term it would be best to upgrade your Residences as well as free up more villages. For the latter you will need to explore regions with your Radar. While it does cost Gold to explore such regions, it is of note that these are one-time investments; once an area has been explored, you do not have to do it again - eventually you'll break even with the extra Gold that the extra villages give you.
I am wondering, is it just me or am i really good with tanks? i am exp 46 with a lvl 18 hq, and i have tanks that are only lvl 6. but i seem to beat players higher than me. And people with lvl 12-16 tanks cant seem to beat some of my exp 46-50 resource bases very often and when they do i can just take them right back. thnx in adv, magmahound :D
It might be possible that you may have boosted and they hadn't (they probably did not run any Ice statues either). As I said, it can all depend on boosts and strategy. If I attacked from the side with all the Boom Cannons, it wouldn't be easy; yet if I managed to find a route that can flank all but one of them, I can easily take that one down with GBE and then avoid the rest (statement does not actually reflect Boom Cannon placement on your Resource base, it's just an example)
I dont usually flank at all unless there is a blind spot i can put my tanks to destroy the hq without getting hit, and i only have a 29% th statue and about 80% gbe unboosted.
I've gotten pretty used to them. They occur a lot in CoC and BB where practice attacks can become quite common. After all, you need all the confidence you can muster when gunning for a SZ on the hardest Forlorn Hope base
