Boom Beach Wiki

Boom Beach has many abbreviations and special terms that are used frequently by the community to talk about many different parts of the game. This table lists those terms in alphabetical order and gives the full phrase and meaning of each term.

Arty/Art Artillery refers to the Artillery Gunboat Weaponry
AZ All Zookas attack strategy consisting of all Zookas and the use of Smoke Screens to reach the target building, usually the Headquarters, and destroy it
Bank-med Bombardier, Tank, and Medic attack strategy that consists of Bombardiers, Tanks, and Medics
Bar Barrage refers to the Barrage Gunboat Weaponry
Bart/Barty Barrage and Artillery term used to designate the damage-dealing Gunboat Weaponry as a whole since they can typically be used interchangeably in battle to destroy Buildings.
BC Boom Cannon refers to the Boom Cannon building
BD Building Damage refers to a defensive building's damage statistic (typically Damage Per Second). Note that this could be confused with the amount of damage a building takes or has taken. The term DBD is typically used. Can also be used to refer to Statues that improve Defensive Building Damage.
BH Building Health refers to a building's health statistic. Can also be used to refer to Statues that improve Building Health
BM Boom Mine refers to the Boom Mine defense
BO Battle Orders refers to the Battle Orders ability
BS Boom Surprise refers to the Boom Surprise prototype defense
CN Cannon refers to the Cannon building
Crit Critters refers to the Critters Gunboat Weaponry
DA/Amp Damage Amplifier refers to the Damage Amplifier prototype defense
DBD Defensive Building Damage refers to a defensive building's damage statistic (typically Damage Per Second). Can also be used to refer to Statues that improve Defensive Building Damage.
DC Doom Cannon refers to the Doom Cannon prototype defense
Dime Diamond refers to the action of using Diamonds
DPH Damage Per Hit refers to the amount of damage something does in one hit
DPS Damage Per Second refers to the average amount of damage something does in one second
ER Engine Room refers to the Engine Room buildings on Warships, the target buildings on Warship battles
FC Flotsam Cannon refers to the Flotsam Cannon building
FP Force Point refers to the Force Points won from Operations.
FT Flamethrower refers to the Flamethrower building
GB Gunboat refers to the Gunboat support building
GBA Gunboat Ability refers to the Temporary Gunboat Abilities that are occasionally available to the Gunboat for a limited period of time.
GBE Gunboat Energy refers to the energy used by the Gunboat to fire Gunboat Weaponry. Can also be used to refer to Statues that improve Gunboat energy.
Gredics Grenadiers and Medics attack strategy consisting of Grenadiers and Medics
GR Grappler refers to the Grappler building
Grank Grenadiers and Tanks attack strategy consisting of Grenadiers and Tanks
Grank-med/TGM Grenadiers, Tanks, and Medics attack strategy that consists of Tanks, Grenadiers, and Medics
Gramp Bombardier refers to the Bombardier troop
Hooka/HZ Heavies and Zookas attack strategy that consists of Heavies and Zookas. "-medic" can be added to indicate the inclusion of Medics in the composition (also called 'HZM', see below).

Hot Pot
refers to the amount of damage that something can take before it is defeated. Can also refer to the Hot Pot prototype defense
HPS Heal Per Second refers to the average amount of healing that something does in one second.
HQ Headquarters refers to the Headquarters building
HZM Heavies, Zookas and Medics attack strategy that consists of Heavies, Zookas and Medics. Also referred to as "hooka-medic" (see above). C can be added anywhere in the abbreviation to indicate the presence of Cryoneers in the composition.
IG Imitation Game refers to the Imitation Game event
LB Leaderboard

Lazor Beam
the list of players with the highest number of Victory Points, either in the country or the world. Can refer to the Lazor Beam prototype defense
LC Landing Craft refers to the Landing Craft support building
Lv Level refers to the Level of the player
MC Mega Crab refers to the Mega Crab event
Merc Mercenary refers to Mercenary/Player Bases that appear on the Map
MG Machine Gun refers to the Machine Gun building
MM Matchmaking refers to the system that matches players with opponents of appropriate difficulty
MMG MMG 9000 refers to Hammerman's MMG 9000 defense
MN Mine refers to the Mine defense
MP Masterpiece refers to the most powerful type of Statue which is created with Crystals.
MT Mortar refers to the Mortar building
NPC Non-Player Character refers to an opponent that is not a player. Most often refers to Blackguard Bases; however, Dr. T, Lt. Hammerman, Colonel Gearheart, and unclaimed Resource Bases are also Non-player opponents.
OP Operation usually refers to the Operations that Task Forces can go on. OP Reward refers to the reward players receive after an Operation. Can also mean "overpowered".
PC Power Core refers to the Power Core, the target building on a Power Base. Note that this may also refer to a Personal Computer.
Player Base Player Base another name for a Mercenary Base
PP Power Powder refers to Power Powder
Proto Prototype Defense refers to any Prototype Defense
PSC Power Stone Chance refers to the probability of getting a Power Stone from a victory. Can also be used to refer to Statues that improve Power Stone Chance.
PvP Player versus Player indicates a conflict between players. Usually used to refer to attacks on mercenary bases.
RB Resource Base refers to the Resource Base island type.
RC Rocket Choppa refers to the Rocket Choppa prototroop.
Remote/Hack Universal Remote/Remote Hack refers to Everspark's Universal Remote ability or the Remote Hack gunboat ability.
Revive/Defib Second Wind/Remote Defib refers to Kavan's Second Wind ability or the Remote Defib gunboat ability.
RL Rocket Launcher refers to the Rocket Launcher building
Rooka Riflemen and Zookas Attack strategy consisting of Riflemen and Zookas. -medic can be added to the end indicating the inclusion of Medics in the composition.
RR Resource Reward refers to the Resources received from a victory. Can also be used to refer to Statues that improve Resource Reward.
RZM Riflemen-Zooka-Medic Also known as Rooka-Medic, is an attack strategy that consists of  Riflemen, Zookas and Medics. C can be added anywhere in the abbreviation (most commonly RZCM) to indicate the presence of Cryoneers in the composition.

refers to the Shock Bomb Gunboat Weaponry. Can also refer to the Shock Blaster prototype defense
SC Supercell the developer of Boom Beach
Scrooka Scorcher and Zooka attack strategy consisting of Scorchers and Zookas.
SG/Shield Shield Generator refers to the Shield Generator prototype defense
Sgt. Brooka Sgt. Brick and Zooka refers to the attack strategy of a combination of Sgt. Brick and Zooka, mostly used with Battle Orders.
SL Shock Launcher refers to the Shock Launcher building
SM Shock Mine

refers to the Shock Mine defense. Can also refer to the Blackguard's defensive building, the Super Mortar 3000
ST Sniper Tower refers to the Sniper Tower building
Sub Submarine refers to the Submarine support building
SW Smokey Warrior attack strategy that consists of Warriors and the use of Smoke Screens to reach the target building, usually the Headquarters, and destroy it.
SS Sky Shield refers to the Sky Shield building
SZ/Smooka Smokey Zooka attack strategy that consists of Zookas and the use of Smoke Screens to approach the target building, usually the Headquarters or Power Core, and destroy it.
TD Troop Damage refers to a troop's damage statistic (typically Damage Per Second). Can also be used to refer to Statues that improve Troop Damage.
TF Task Force refers to Boom Beach's social groups
TH Troop Health refers to a troop's health statistic. Can also be used to refer to Statues that improve Troop Health.
T-med Tanks and Medics attack strategy consisting of Tanks and Medics.
Torchers Tanks and Scorchers refers to the attack strategy that consists of Scorchers and Tanks.
TRM Tanks, Riflemen and Medics refers to the attack strategy consisting of Tanks and Medics as well as the usage of Riflemen to soak up fire from Boom Cannons and Cannons
TS Dr. T Stage refers to a specific stage of a Dr. T event (i.e. TS 4 means Dr. T Stage 4)
Vat Power Cell refers to the Power Cells found on Operation Bases
VP Victory Point refers to the Victory Points that determine which opponents you are matched with. VP Reward refers to the daily reward that players receive that depends on their Victory Point count.
Weavy Warriors and Heavies refers to the attack strategy that consists of Warriors, the usage of Smoke Screens to help the Warriors reach the target building and (usually) one boat of Heavies to take damage from Mines and Boom Mines leading up to the target building.
WF War Factory refers to the War Factory event
WL Weapon Lab refers to the Weapon Lab used to build Prototype Defenses
WR Warrior Rush attack strategy that consists of Warriors overwhelming defenses and/or reaching the target building as quickly as possible and destroying it.
WS Warships refers to events in Warships
XP Experience refers to the Experience gained by building and upgrading structures and the amount that a player has. It can also refer to the level of the player (see above 'Lv').
